Akatsuki No Yona Plot

With only a mysterious legend to guide her Yona must discover a way to restore Kouka to its former glory while being pursued relentlessly by the forces of the new King of Kouka. Based on the popular manga of the same name by Mizuho Kusanagi Akatsuki no Yona follows Princess Yona on a coming-of-age adventure as she faces the harsh realities of her kingdom. Su-Won is Yona s love interest her first love and the son of Yona s father s brother.

Yona has way more character development.

Akatsuki Even though she agrees with her father s answer she s unsatisfied with her unruly hair and wonders why it is a different color than her parents who both had black hair. And I mean way more. Yona asks her father if he finds her hair weird to which she receives an answer that describes her beauty as surpassing a gem. Also the settings are very similar where royalty is prominent and there isn t any modern technology. However the dragons reincarnations follow her voluntarily because they were fascinated by Yona s character and conviction. In my opinion Akatsuki no Yona is actually better than Akagami no Shirayuki-hime because there is more to the plot. She is the reincarnation of the mighty Crimson Dragon King and is from the Sky tribe.

Son Hak is princess Yona s bodyguard. He is also her childhood friend and former General of Wind tribe. Story The story of Akatsuki no Yona is rich and wonderful with plenty of lore and history to satisfy even the pickiest of viewers. The show as a whole is quite plot-heavy and every episode makes the best use of its time whether to advance the story or to develop the characters. Yona lives a lavish sheltered life from the harrowing reality outside of the walls of the Crimson Dragon Castle protected by her bodyguard Hak general of the Wind Tribe and often visited by Su-Won her crush of 10 years and the son of King Il s brother Yu-Hon. Yona is the only daughter of the king of Kouka King II. Yona and the Four Dragons As hinted in the series Yona may be the reincarnation of the red dragon reason why the four dragons white blue green and yellow are attached to her.
